A Rare Breed

A Rare Breed is a short documentary and installation about Rob Wilson, a farmer from Tasmania who specialises in breeding rare types of Wyandotte chickens. He has travelled all over Australia and Europe to exhibit his beloved birds and offer his knowledge to keen audiences, and anyone else that will listen. On first impression Rob may come across as a typical old rural-bloke from Tasmania but on the inside he’s the complete opposite. Having been examined around the world by doctors and scientists Rob has a story or two to tell you about it, and his chickens of course.
