Solo exhibition
I just want to tell my story.
Let people know this work is about
everything that goes on in life.
These paintings are about the many
different things that can happen to people.
My life has been a struggle ever since I was a young person, afflicted by barriers and hardship, the only way to endure was through the support of good people.
Today I see young people suffering.
My story can act as an example
that you can survive and escape from hardship.
This work is part of healing, it is evidence of my and my childrens struggles, and an acknowledgement that we are not an isolated circumstance. Other people, and their families, experience deep tragedy and hardship.
