'A Colourful Past' - a celebration and showing on the histories of Aboriginal activism in Tasmania; and an exploration of the use of Art in Aboriginal activism and community awareness.
Through the sharing of personal archive and Contemporary Artworks the exhibition opened us to the individual narrative within the history of activism that have taken place on our island.
Looking at activism through poetry, journalism, archiving, art making, theatre and protest we understand the rich weave that has been the fight of the palawa people of lutruwita.
